An enhancer binding protein, MmoR
An enhancer binding protein, MmoR, from Methylosinus sporium 5 initiates the transcriptional pathway of soluble methane monooxygenase (sMMO) through the interaction with upstream enhancer sequences in the presence of ATP. This transcriptional regulation induces complex generation of MmoR-σ54 in the absence of copper ions.
